DIENES offers the high stability DS-8 in two versions: the DS8-L and DS 8-H. The DS 8 L is the light version of the shear cut knife holder and is used for cutting widths from 100 mm. The DS 8 H has a greater cutting pressure (30-130 N) and achieves higher speeds (3,000 m/min) with a cutting width from 145 mm.
These square body shear cut knife holders are specially designed for heavy mill duty and high-speed applications, yet also suitable for thick/tough material characteristics. The DS-8 knife holder with extremely high operating speeds offers increased knife life and clean, quality cuts.
